Final installation

Finished off my installation at my church building in the gym. I thought to have the poster centered in the middle of the court would help catch the attention. We had a game to relate to the theme of my work. 

Change of location

My work will be held at my church buildinget there's a basketball court in there that I feel will suit my theme. Sorry for the late notice. Because of the weather yesterday and today the wall is slippery and wet. Materials that were to hold it couldn't stay on with the image. That was my problem. In the future I'll be more prepare with areas that wouldn't have this situation.

Present my work on.

My work will be here by tonight just waiting on the rain to stop 😐 but it will be out here near the east tamaki tennis club. 

Bad News

Bus stop is no longer the place I will be presenting my work 😢 But it will be install athe east tamaki tennis club, near it there's a a basketball court where my work will be at.

Also my printing turned out wrong lol but I will print another one where I check on trees sizes.

I thought of this idea to put up my work which will go along with the idea concept of a poster. The hold up would be waiting to hear for confirmation. Otherwise I would present my work at MIT faculty of creative art

work

I was looking at adding movement into my magazine cover. I thought the idea was good but as i experience it. It looks a little too much. So I am not liking the look of this idea.

What I could use to better this image is by selecting a few like just 3 or 2 image instead of 5.

I like the usage of the white background. It could use a little bit of more lightening in this image. Maybe I could use tiny light around more on the left side up top on the ball.

I still like it even though its dark.

Work

With this Magazine cover I've been working on. I am going for a bold look which i like from this image i took. the red really brings out a new look with the black background i like and it works out. It would be a magazine I would look at. Because Time magazine isn't a sport magazine. I feel impress to change it.

I would need to change the title and also add little info about these athlete. Give it a more taste to the Magazine Cover

Self Directed Time

Im loving the boldness of these portraits and with the flash being used in this image i took.
I could maybe use a White background with a little bit of colour to it. But felt to start with Black drop background because i like to give it a more bold look.

further step ill be looking into magazine cover with black background or white.

Thinking outside the box of designing my magazine cover.  Instead of time magazine I'll be changing it to sport magazine. Looking at the different opinion of sport athlete from a Polynesian prospective.

Here is a magazine template i like the black background. I might change it a little to suit my theme and culture.

Time Magazine Sample

Looking at magazine that could bring ideas.
Face portrait as a front cover magazine wouldn't be a bad idea to experience around. If i were to apply this then my creativity will need to draw the attention for others to flip through the pages  so that its not all about the cover but also the article that are in it.

Thought this is a interesting magazine article. That would work with a sport imagery.
Movement involved and bold font i could use for my magazine article as final project.
Something more simple and not too much on a page.

 

Sample

It is always good to see what a magazine article looks like.
i feel like i would go for a 3 papers, large images with article.
Right now just thinking on what title would go with the magazine.

Field trip 2 Auckland Art Gallery

Fiona Pardington 

Having to observe what a gallery exhibition is like at Auckland. I have come to see the important of space and lightening. Fiona Pardington is portrait brings a strong sharp image. I like how the room was dark & the portrait had some colours that gives it a bold look & focus.

If i were to have a exhibition after taking a tour around the Auckland gallery. I feel that my work will be best as a online exhibition, poster post around, magazine display at a bus stop.

Here are two focus i would suggest for my last project:

I like how its not too much its simple. next step i will try out this by applying sport event based in Otahuhu Rugby Union.
